👋🏼 Hello, I'm Kentaro Hoffman

**currently on the Job Market, 2025**

Hello! My name is Kentaro Hoffman (feel free to pronounce this in whatever way you like! I have a list of unique pronunciations of my name. As of 2024, it is about 10 long). I am a Postdoc student at the Department of Statistics, University of Washington, under Professor Tyler McCormick. I am also an affiliate Postdoctoral Fellow at the ( eScience Institute) and the ( Center for Statistics and the Social Sciences). I am currently interesting in how best us statisticians can incorporate our methods in a world where increasing amounts of data is becoming blackbox/AI-generated. To this end, I am very excited about two paradigms. Inference on Predicted Data and Rashomon Sets . I am currently working on applying these two paradigms to help aid scientific development in a range of fields from sociology, global health, and biostatics.
